The finale of Survivor 2024 has aired and now everyone wants to know who won Survivor 47. In this article, we will discuss who is the winner and what they will take home as their prize.
CBS’s Survivor 47 winner is Rachel Lamont. The finale was divided into two parts, with one-half broadcasting on Dec. 11, and the other half on Dec. 18, from 8 to 10 P.M. Along with Lamont, Sam Phalen, Teeny Chirichillo, Genevieve Mushaluk, Andy Rueda, and Sue Smey, were the six contestants to reach the finale.
Rueda and Mushaluk got voted out during the first half of the finale on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024. After a close fire challenge, only Smey, Lamont, and Phalen made it to the final three.
Rachel got her spot by winning the immunity challenge which involved solving a bat puzzle and completing an obstacle course. This was Rachel’s fourth immunity win, and this has ensured that now she’s the holder of a record- having won the most immunity challenges as a woman on a Survivor season.
In front of the tribal council, Rachel highlighted these immunity wins as well as the idol play at final 6. She also talked about her ability to adapt to various challenges and situations well.
Ultimately, Smey was third and Phalen was second. Lamont, who won Survivor 47, received seven out of the eight jury votes. Phalen got one vote and Smey received none.
Rachel Lamont will take home a prize of $1 million which is awarded to every winning contestant of Survivor at the end of the season. You can watch Survivor on Paramount+.
