Who got Eliminated & went home in Dancing with the Stars Season 33 Semi-Finals?

For the second time in Dancing with the Stars history, there was no elimination in the semi-finals, meaning all five couples are advancing to the finale.

The semi-final performances saw each pair perform two dances — a Latin and a Ballroom routine. Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, along with Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, both scored a combined total of 58, leading the pack.

Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten scored 57, followed by Danny Amendola and Witney Carson with 54. Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold rounded out the scores with a 53.

Despite the scores, no eliminations were made. Chandler and Joey share the top spot with 58 points each, while Stephen and Danny finished near the bottom with 53 and 54, respectively.

As a result, all couples will carry over their scores and viewers' votes into the grand finale, where they’ll perform a freestyle. This marks the second consecutive year that every contestant has made it to the finale. Next week’s three-hour event will feature a special performance by Derek Hough and Mark Ballas.

What were the Dancing With the Stars Semi-Finale Scores?

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong kicked off the night with a sizzling Salsa to “Spicy Margarita” by Jason Derulo and Michael Bublé, impressing the judges with their heat and artistry. Carrie Ann praised Kinney’s well-defined movements, while Derek acknowledged her finals-level performance, despite wishing for more salsa content. They earned 29 points.

For their Foxtrot to “Too Sweet” by Hozier, their sensual performance left Bruno calling it unforgettable, earning them a 29 and tying them for first place with Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, who received perfect 30s for their Foxtrot. Derek called their Foxtrot a “masterclass,” and Bruno lauded Jenna’s choreography. Their Paso Doble to “Come Together” fell slightly short, with Carrie Ann noting a few timing issues, earning them 28 points.

Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten delivered a strong Paso Doble to “Unholy,” earning a solid 28, with Bruno calling it “strong and focused.” They followed up with a graceful Viennese Waltz to “Golden Hour” by JVKE, impressing the judges with their delicate and stunning performance, earning 29 points.

Danny Amendola and Witney Carson performed an emotional Viennese Waltz to “Gravity,” with Carrie Ann impressed by Danny’s emotional depth despite a bit of stiffness. It earned them 27 points. Their Salsa to “I Like It” was a high-risk, high-reward move with impressive lifts, earning them 27 points as well.

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold struggled with their Cha Cha, earning 25 points, but delivered a much stronger Tango to “Sweet Disposition,” earning 28 points. Despite the glasses mishap mid-dance, they were praised for their resilience and improvement.
