Plot

Filming
The third season of Whitstable Pearl returns to its roots, filming on location in the picturesque Kent setting. Frances, one of the show's stars, expressed her delight at being back in Whitstable, noting that while season two explored more of Kent, including scenes shot in Dover and Margate, returning to familiar grounds felt special. “Kent, known as the Garden of England, is stunning,” she remarked, suggesting that American viewers will especially appreciate its beauty.
Interestingly, during filming, a fan approached actor Howard, inquiring about Pearl's restaurant, only to learn that while the exterior is filmed in Whitstable, the interior scenes are shot in a studio in Limehouse to accommodate camera equipment. This blend of location and studio work highlights the show's commitment to capturing the charm of its setting while ensuring a smooth filming process.
