Over multiple seasons, multiple people have died on Chicago Fire, and some of them have been quite shocking. However, this current death came out of nowhere after it looked like things were going well, especially for Dermot Mulroney's Chief Dom Pascal. So, who died on Chicago Fire?

Chief Dom Pascal’s wife, Monica Pascal (played by KaDee Strickland), passed away in a car accident on their anniversary dinner night. Just when the Pascals thought their marriage was getting stronger, disaster struck and pulled them apart. 

Firehouse 51 were notified of a car crash on a major intersection. When the firefighters reached there, they used the jaws of life to pry the woman who was trapped in her vehicle. There Mouch went to pull the driver out and saw that it was Monica Pascal. 

During the ambulance ride to the hospital, Violet did everything possible to put a stop to Monica’s internal bleeding. The Chief was at a fancy restaurant for their anniversary dinner when he got the call. By the time he reached the hospital, Violet informed him that his wife was no more. All he could do was take her limp hand in his and cry.
