The German-language series Where’s Wanda? will premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024. The first two episodes will be released that day. Plot

When 17-year-old Wanda Klatt mysteriously vanishes, her family grows frustrated with the police's lack of progress. Determined to find their daughter, Dedo, and Carlotta Klatt decide to take matters into their own hands. Enlisting the help of their tech-savvy son, Ole, they set up surveillance across their neighborhood, disguising themselves as electrical company employees to secretly bug their neighbors.

As their investigation deepens, the Klatts soon discover that beneath the surface of their seemingly normal suburban community lies a web of dark secrets. What begins as a desperate search for Wanda leads them to uncover unsettling truths about those living around them, turning their mission into an unexpected and often darkly comedic journey through deception and hidden lives.

Where’s Wanda? is a German dark comedy series created by British writer Oliver Lansley, based on a story by Zoltan Spirandelli. The show is directed by Tobi Baumann, Christian Ditter, and Christoph Klünker and produced by UFA Fiction, a Fremantle-owned company. Oliver Lansley also serves as executive producer alongside Nataly Kudiabor, Sebastian Werninger, and Christian Ditter.
