When will Outlander Season 8 be Released? 

Outlander season 7 has ended in 2025 after it began in the summer of 2023. This season consisted of 16 episodes within which we saw Jaime go to the Revolutionary War and Claire almost get tried for a murder she didn’t commit. Brianna and Roger went to the future before coming back to the past.

Release date and Where to Watch Outlander Season 8? 

No release date has been announced yet for Outlander season 8, but it will probably be released in 2026. Filming has wrapped on the season which will be the last one in the main Outlander series. A next-year release timeframe might seem harsh because season 7 has ended in January. 

However, there’s a reason for this gap. For one, post-production on the final season will take about a year, and also because the Outlander prequel show- Outlander: Blood of My Blood, will premiere this season. Outlander is streaming on Starz.

Season 8 won’t be a 16-episode bonanza like season 7 was. Instead, there will only be 10 episodes, and this has been confirmed by Deadline.
