What is the plot of When No One Sees Us?

Set during Holy Week in 2024, When No One Sees Us unfolds in Morón de la Frontera, a small Andalusian town where Spanish traditions and American military influence collide. Lucía Gutiérrez, a Civil Guard sergeant, begins investigating what appears to be a suicide, only to uncover unsettling anomalies linked to the town’s first Easter procession.

Meanwhile, Magaly Castillo, a U.S. Army special agent arrives at the nearby military base to track down a missing American soldier. Her search leads her to Colonel Seamus Hoopen, the enigmatic head of the base, whose hidden dealings suggest a much larger cover-up.

Based on Sergio Sarria’s novel of the same name, the series was created by Daniel Corpas and features a screenplay led by Arturo Ruiz, with contributions from Luis Caballero, José Antonio Valverde, Germán Aparicio, and Isabel Sánchez.

Produced by Zeta Studios for Warner Bros. Discovery in Spain, the eight-part series was commissioned in June 2023.
