When does Season 4 of Invincible come out?

Invincible season 3 is over, and the finale is the talk of the town, thanks to its gory action. Now, fans of the animated superhero show want to know when they can expect to see the next season. So, when does Season 4 of Invincible come out? In this article, we will discuss that. 

Invincible Season 4 Release date

Invincible has been renewed for season 4. It was given the green light on July 26, 2024, during San Diego Comic-Con at Prime Video’s adult animation panel. So, season 4 is already in production. 

Invincible creator Robert Kirkman gave an update on season 4 of the show while talking to The Direct's Russ Milheim at MultiCon, a benefit event held for LA wildfire recovery on February 22. He said that:

“Right now, the focus is making sure that the show comes out as regularly as possible, and we're trying not to have any distractions that are going to keep us from that… the focus has been getting Season 3 wrapped up, getting Season 4 wrapped up.” 

Season 2 ended in April 2024, and Season 3 began airing in February 2025. So, about 10 months after the season 2 finale. If this pattern is followed, the Invincible Season 4 release date could be in early 2026. 

How many Seasons will Invincible have?

Robert Kirkman revealed to The Direct that the show has been officially picked up for 4 seasons. But he wants it to go on longer so that they can adapt the entire comic. The creator said:

"I try to answer this question differently every time, so sometimes I say 7, sometimes I say 8, sometimes I say 9. Who knows? Who knows? I think the goal is to adapt the entire comic. I would also like to kind of meander a little bit and add some stories along the way that aren't in the comic because I think that's fun.”

He further said, “So you know, I don't know. I think the most honest answer I can give is: hopefully the show's going to be around for a while, but you know we've only been picked up through Season 4. But the show's doing very well, so you know, fingers crossed that we get to go for 11 seasons or more."
