WhatsApp Beta now lets user to pin their favorite chats on top

WhatsApp, a social messaging app which has updated many new features in the recent days for the purpose of user convenience. It is one of the best applications owned by Facebook. This time, WhatsApp announced a new feature where the users have the ability to pin up to three conversations right at the top.

The main reason for this update is to pin the particular Messages from your contacts, you want to ignore or unwanted text from your family groups can make it really hard to keep up with the important messages from your favorite contacts.

When WhatsApp beta 2.17.162 solves that by adding one very small features ie. pinned chats. You can tap and hold on any chat and get you a new pin icon on the action bar next to the delete, mute and archive functions.

Once you pinned, a conversation stays on the top portion of the chat history. To Unpin the contacts, long press the pinned chat and tap on the pin button. it's a simple and easy process.

Interestingly, you can only pin 3 chats in your list. If you cannot wait to use these feature, sign up for WhatsApp beta on Google Play from your Android phone. Now, this new feature is currently available on WhatsApp beta version only and not on the regular Android app.
