In The Rule of Jenny Pen, arrogant Judge Stefan Mortensen (Geoffrey Rush) suffers a stroke that leaves him partially paralyzed and confined to a retirement home. There, he encounters the seemingly mild-mannered Dave Crealy (John Lithgow), who is secretly terrorizing the facility with a sadistic game called “The Rule of Jenny Pen,” using a dementia doll as a tool of cruelty. When Mortensen's desperate pleas for help go ignored, he takes matters into his own hands to end Crealy’s reign of terror.
