What’s Coming to Apple TV+ in November 2024

We finally have the full list of what's coming to Apple TV+ in November 2024, and the lineup looks quite diverse and interesting this month. Let's take a look.

First, we have Saoirse Ronan’s Blitz, a World War II drama by Oscar-winning filmmaker Steve McQueen. According to McQueen, "Blitz is a movie about Londoners. It honours the spirit of what and how Londoners endured during the blitz, but also explores the true representation of people in London, while at its core is the story of a working-class family desperate to be reunited during times of war."

After nearly two years since the critically acclaimed and award-winning first season of Bad Sisters captivated audiences, the show is finally returning for a second season. Audiences will also be treated to the second installment of Silo, so get ready for a deeper dive into the dystopian world created by Hugh Howey, where new secrets will be unraveled, and new alliances will be forged.

And finally, we have the Jennifer Lawrence- and Malala-produced documentary, Bread & Roses, which will show the harsh realities faced by Afghan women following the Taliban’s takeover of Kabul in 2021.

Blitz

Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan stars in the Apple Original film Blitz, directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Steve McQueen. Set in London during the Second World War, amidst the devastation of the Nazi bombings, the story follows a mother who is desperately searching for her lost son. Blitz re-creates London during the German blitzkrieg, also known as the "lightning war."

Bad Sisters Season 2

Release Date: Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024

In Bad Sisters, the Garvey sisters—Eva, Grace, Ursula, Bibi, and Becka—are united by the traumatic loss of their parents and a vow to always protect one another. Season two takes place two years after the sisters appear to have moved on from this incident. However, when past secrets come to light, the Garveys find themselves under scrutiny once again. With suspicions running high, old lies unravel, new secrets emerge, and the sisters must figure out whom they can trust.

Silo Season 2

Release Date: Friday, Nov. 15, 2024
Genre: Sci-Fi

Silo is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the last ten thousand people on Earth reside in a mile-deep underground silo. The residents live under strict rules that prohibit them from exploring the outside world, which is believed to be toxic and deadly. Season one concluded with a cliffhanger, as Juliette, played by Rebecca Ferguson, stepped outside the silo but surprisingly did not die. Season two is expected to explore the aftermath of this revelation.

Bread & Roses

Release Date: Friday, Nov. 22, 2024
Genre: Documentary

Produced by Jennifer Lawrence and executive-produced by activist Malala Yousafzai, Bread & Roses chronicles the resistance of Afghan women against the Taliban following the withdrawal of U.S. and U.K. forces in 2021. Through the experiences of three courageous women, the documentary highlights their relentless fight to preserve their freedoms in life-threatening circumstances.
