Amazon Prime Video Gets Dozens of New Movies in Time for Christmas

Amazon offers some great perks if you're a Prime customer, on top of those great delivery times and price deals, such as Prime Video. With so many subscribers, we're sure you're more than eager to find out what new movies and series are coming to Amazon Prime Video in December.

Amazon, as always, doesn't disappoint and provides a rather long list of movies we're sure you'll want to see. Some or older, some are newer, and many of them come with holiday cheer.

So, let's see what new stuff you'll be able to watch starting this December.

December 1

• A Clockwork Orange - crime - Stanley Kubrick's film shows the story of a sadistic gang leader who is imprisoned, but volunteers for an experiment... until things stop going according to plan.
• A Fish Called Wanda - comedy - Four people team up to commit armed robbery in London, but things go wrong when they start to doublecross each other.
• A Fistful of Dollars - western - Clint Eastwood is a gunfighter who plays two rival families against each other.
• All the President’s Men - drama - Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford team up for this Hollywood classic with four Oscars, playing two undercover reporters digging into the Watergate scandal.
• Bad Girls from Mars - comedy - The female leads of a movie they're filming are getting killed off, but the producers really want to finish it, so they ask another actress to take the role.
• Because I Said So - comedy - Diane Keaton plays a mother who tries to set up her daughter (Mandy Moore) with the man she thinks is right for her.
• Best Seller - crime - When a hitman asks a writer to put his life story into words, things don't go as planned.
• Beverly Hills Vamp - comedy - This movie's premise is so outlandish, you're bound to at least giggle when a trio of geeks seek the company of some beautiful women who turn out to be vampires.
• The Black Stallion - adventure - This is a touching story about the friendship that grows between a young man and a beautiful stallion when they found themselves shipwrecked on a deserted island.
• Blue Hill Avenue - crime - This movie puts the spotlight on a young man who gets lured into a world of crime, despite his strong moral values.
• Boogie Nights - drama - Mark Wahlberg, Julianne Moore, and Burt Reynolds play into a movie about a young man's adventures into the pornography industry in the late 70s.
• Bright Lights, Big City - drama - Michael J. Fox is a young New York City writer who turns to drugs for comfort.
• The Dark Crystal - adventure - The quest for the missing shard of a magical crystal takes a Gelfling on quite an adventure.
• Event Horizon - sci-fi - Laurence Fishburne plays int his 1997 sci-fi horror movie where a spaceship that had disappeared into a black hole returns with something new on board.
• The Firm - drama - Tom Cruise is a young lawyer who joins a firm before discovering that not everything is as it seems.
• The Game - drama - David Fincher's The Game features Michael Douglas as a wealthy banker who participates in a mysterious game that turns his life upside down.
• Gargoyle - horror - An evil gargoyle has returned looking for revenge and a pair of CIA agents is in big trouble.
• The Godson - comedy - The man who's supposed to take the reins of the Mob family may not be up for the task so he gets sent to learn a thing or two.
• Groundhog Day - comedy - The endless loop of Groundhog Day is just as famous as Bill Murray's timeless acting in this movie.
• Happily N’Ever After - animation - Your kids will be happy to watch a young woman fight against her stepmother's evil plans.
• Happily N’Ever After 2 - animation - When fairy tales collide, the princesses you know and love may not be so keen about helping others as they are about gossiping.
• Hitman’s Run - action - A former mon hitman has to come back from retirement and out of witness protection to protect his family.
• Livin’ by the Gun - western - A man returns to his homestead when his brother dies and embarks on a journey to revenge his sibling.
• Margin Call - drama - Zachary Quinto, Stanley Tucci, and Kevin Spacey play in this 2011 film about a day in the life of investment bankers in the early stages of the 2008 financial crisis.
• Mars Attacks! - comedy - This Tim Burton sci-fi comedy features a Martian invasion on Earth and brings together actors like Jack Nicholson, Pierce Brosnan, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
• The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, The Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear, Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult - comedy - Leslie Nielsen always brings us joy when he plays the famous detective Frank Drebin.
• Ordinary People - drama - This movie tells the story of a family's conflicted relationship following the accidental death of the older son.
• Promised Land - drama - Matt Damon plays a salesman for a natural gas company who finds out that things aren't like they appear to be when he arrives in a small town where the company who works for wants to start drilling.
• Silent Tongue - western - A man can't get over the death of his wife and starts seeing her everywhere.
• Sleepover - comedy - Four best friends get into a scavenger hunt to compete with the most popular girls at school.
• Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - action - The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles move to the big screen and bring their story and their battles along.
• Trucks - horror - Aliens attempt to take over Earth by controlling trucks and using them as weapons.
• Ulee’s Gold - drama - A beekeeper tries to keep his family together, even if it means fighting off his son's bad-influence friends.
• Valkyrie - drama - The movie tells the story of the assassination and political coup against Hitler.
• War - action - Jet Li and Jason Statham make a spectacle as the movie follows an FBI agent who seeks revenge for his partner's murder.
• Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins - comedy - Martin Lawrence and Louis C.K. play in this movie, following Dr. RJ Stevens during a visit home.
• Wild Wild West - action - Will Smith tries to save President Grant from a mad inventor.
• Windtalkers - action - Two US Marines use their native language as an unbreakable radio cipher when they are assigned to protect Navajo Marines during the WWII.

December 5

• The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel - comedy - The second season brings even more opportunities to laugh as you follow a housewife from the 1950s who does her best to become a stand-up comic.

December 7

• Killers - Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher are two newlyweds who figure out that their neighbors are assassins looking to kill them.
• Why Did I Get Married Too? - comedy - Janet Jackson and Tyler Perry play a couple who tries to figure out why they got married when a young woman enters their lives.

December 8

• Before I Fall - drama - A touching story featuring Zoey Deutch who lives her last day over and over until she untangles the mystery around her death.
• Collide - action - A backpacker ends up playing the role of a driver for drug smugglers before making a run for it. The cast includes Nicholas Hoult, Anthony Hopkins, and Felicity Jones.

December 14

• LOL: Last One Laughing - reality TV - This show will have you in stitches when 10 comedians start cracking jokes.

December 15

• 4 Blocks - crime - The second season of his series finally lands on Amazon Prime so you can binge it all
• Life of Crime - comedy - Two criminals abduct the wife of a corrupt real-estate developer, but he won't pay the ransom.

December 16

• Evan Almighty - comedy - Steve Carell and Morgan Freeman will try to put a smile on your face.

December 19

• A Most Wanted Man - crime - Security agents from Germany and the US try to figure out if their target is a terrorist or a victim.

December 21

• Life Itself - drama - Olivia Wilde and Oscar Isaac play a couple who goes from college romance to marriage and a child, and the movie looks at how this reverberates into the future.
• Vanity Fair - TV series - The first season of Vanity Fair, an adaptation of the Thackeray novel, lands on Amazon Prime so you can enjoy it fully.

• Iron Man 2 - action - Robert Downey Jr. returns in the role of Tony Stark to take on a new adventure.

• Hereditary - horror - Dark secrets resurface after the family matriarch passes away.

December 28

• Niko and the Sword of Light - animation - The second season of this epic adventure is finally available to stream.
