Disney Plus is available on a wide range of platforms, but it's also missing from a large list of devices. Which ones are those? Well, let's see.Â
As you already know, Disney Plus has been expanding more and more over the past year, reaching more countries and more devices. There's no absolute list of devices that Disney Plus is not available on, but we do know the requirements for each platform.
You can check to see if your device fits the Disney+ platform's needs.Â
Android mobile devices - Android phones and tablets need to have OS 5.0 (Lollipop) and above.
Apple iPhones and iPod Touch - iOS 11.0 and later.
Apple iPad tablets - iOS and iPadOS 11.0 and later.
Amazon Fire Tablet - Fire OS 5.0 ad later.
Android TV - OS version 5.0 (Lollipop) and later.
LG TV - WebOS 3.0 and above.
Samsung Smart TVs - 2016 and later, with Tizen OS. (Orsay OS and the built-in web browser are not supported).
Amazon Fire TV - All Fire TV and Fire TV Edition Smart TVs.
Vizio Smartcast TV - models 2016 and newer, except E32-D1, E32h-D1, E40-D0, E43-D2, E48-D0, E50-D1, and E55-D0.
AirPlay - AirPlay supported across Apple TV running tvOS 11.0 and higher, 3rd and 4th gen Apple TV, TVs compatible with AirPlay 2.
Chromebook - native browser supports Disney Plus content.
Chromecast - Disney Plus supports casting from iOS, Android, Chrome browser. Works with Chromecast version 1 and newer, Google Nest Hub, Google Nest Hub Max, Android TV devices, Vizio Smart TVs with built-in Chromecast.
Roku - Roku LT (2700X), Roku 1, Roku 2, Roku 3, Roku 4, Roku Express, Roku Express+, 4K Roku Premiere, 4K Roku Premiere+, 4K Roku Ultra, 4K Roku Ultra LT, Roku Streaming Stick, 4K Roku Streaming Stick+, Roku TV, 4K Roku Smart Speaker (Models 2400x, 3000x, 3050x, 3100x, 2450x, 2500x, 3400x, and 3420x are not supported).
Roku TV - Element, Hisense, Hitachi, JVC, Magnavox, Philips, RCA, Sanyo, Sharp, TCL, Westinghouse, others.
PlayStation - PS 4 Pro, PS 4 Slim, PS 4.
Xbox - Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X.

Disney+ doesn’t support mobile browser playback, and you'll need the Android or iOS apps.
