UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Walker Fight Card

Get ready for more edge-of-the-seat action this weekend as the latest edition of UFC Fight Night promises to be another cracking event. These ruthless fighters will do anything in their power to climb up in the rankings. And as we have often seen in the past, these Fight Night events are a great way for talented fighters to make a name for themselves and carve out more significant opportunities.

Main eventing this weekend's UFC Fight Night card will be Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker. The two Brazilian light heavyweights will have no love lost going into this weekend's fight. Walker is 4-2 in the UFC but hasn't fought in quite a while. He will be hoping that there is no rust going into the clash. But a win for Walker on Saturday would see him establish himself as a legitimate title threat going into the next year.

Thiago Santos has had a tough couple of years and goes into this weekend's fight on the back of three straight losses. He will certainly be desperate for victory against his countryman, and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

The co-main event will see two middleweights who are aiming to get their form back as Kevin Holland and Kyle Daukaus square off. Both fighters are very talented and have great potential, both will also be eyeing a win as they go into the contest on the back of consecutive losses. It remains to be seen who will come out on top in this one, as this is one fight that looks too close to call at the moment.

One fight that could end up stealing the show this weekend is the clash between Alex Oliveira and Niko Price, the two welterweights who live for chaos and hard-hitting action. The two exciting fighters are currently outside the Top 15 in the welterweight division. But the winner will get a lot of momentum heading into the new year.

Former light heavyweight Misha Cirkunov makes his first appearance in the middleweight category in what will no doubt be an intriguing fit. He will face Krzysztof Jotko, who is an American Top Team representative (the famous group of MMA fighters led by Dan Lambert). Jotko's experience makes him the favorite for this one. But Cirkunov certainly has what it takes to stun the world and make a splash on his middleweight debut.

The only women's fight of the main card will see Aspen Ladd and Macy Chiasson battle it out. The two bantamweights hope for the title, and fireworks will no doubt be expected when they face off on Saturday. Both are ranked in the top ten of the division, and whoever comes out on top will inch closer to an opportunity to win the title.

The opening fight of the main card should be another good one. Lightweights Alexander Hernandez and Mike Breeden will face off in another eagerly awaited contest. Hernandez is the favorite as he has three more years of experience under his belt, while Breeden will enter the Octagon for the first time on Saturday. But Breeden can look at his opponent for inspiration as he looks to cause an upset, just like Hernandez did on his debut.

Several other exciting fights are also scheduled to occur in the Prelims, so be sure not to miss them either. Below we have the full card for UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Walker.
