Watching TV in Spanish without cable is easier today than ever before, mostly thanks to the wide array of over-the-top (OTT) platforms that one can choose from.
Whether you're simply trying to watch TV in your native language, or you're trying to learn the language and know that the best way to do so is to constantly be exposed to it, it doesn't really matter. All that it matters is that you have loads of options ahead of you.
So, let's go on and see what Spanish-language TV channels you can find on the available OTTs out there, how much it will cost you, and what you need to do.
fuboTV is a great platform, especially since it features loads of channels for sports lovers. Another great place to find channels in Spanish is Sling TV. Things are a bit complicated here, since there are quite a few channel bundles available.
First, there's the regular Sling version, which features 3 starter bundles. Orange costs $25 per month, Blue costs $25 per month, while Orange + Blue costs $40 per month. The extra channel packs are $5 per month, although Sports Extra does cost $10 per month for Blue and Orange + Blue subscribers. While you may not find channels in Spanish here, you will elsewhere.

Then, there's the Sling latino version, which features another three bundles - Best of Spanish ($10/mo), Best of Spanish + Sling Orange ($30/mo), and Best of Spanish + Sling Blue ($30/mo). Here are the Spanish channels for each of them:

Next is Hulu, which is better known for the video-on-demand service it offers. There are quite a few things you can watch here for $39.99 per month and there's some customization you can bring to the bundle, but Telemundo is the only channel in Spanish featured on Hulu. Recently, however, the platform added a couple of new channel packs, including Espanol Add-on. This pack costs $4.99 per month and includes several Spanish-language channels - CNN en Espanol, ESPN Deportes, History en Espanol, and NBC Universo. It's not much, but it's a huge step forward. Check out our Hulu review for more info about this OTT.
YouTube TV is also up next, which is a rather odd service since it only has one bundle of channels to offer for $40 per month. There's a little customization you can do on this platform, but for what's most important it takes a "take it or leave it" attitude. On the list of channels available on YouTube TV, you can find Telemundo and Universo. Of course, YouTube TV is only present in certain metro areas, so you should check our YouTube TV review to see if you even live in a covered area, or how to bypass this situation.
Next up we have Sony's PlayStation Vue, which is a great platform with four starter bundles - Access ($44.99/mo), Core ($49.99/mo), Elite ($59.99/mo), and Ultra ($79.99/mo). There are several channels in Spanish on PlayStation Vue, so let's see how they're spread out.
Access: Telemundo
Core: Same as above
Elite: Same as above, plus ESPN Deportes and FOX Deportes
Ultra: All of the above.
There are also some extra channels in Spanish in the Espanol Pack, which costs $4.99 per month, or $3.99 per month for PlayStation Plus members. The pack contains the following channels: BabyTV, Cine Sony, CNN Espanol, Discovery en Espanol, Discovery Familia, FOX Deportes, FOX Life, Nat Geo Mundo, and Universo.
Check out our PlayStation Vue review for more details on the great features this OTT features.
Next up we have DirecTV Now, which features five starter bundles - Live a Little ($40/mo), Just Right ($55/mo), Go Big ($65/mo), Gotta Have It ($75/mo), and Todo y Mas ($45/mo). Obviously, a big bunch of channels in Spanish will be in the latter bundle, but we'll have to see what others we can find elsewhere.
Live a Little: Galavision, Telemundo, Univision
Just Right: The channels above + UniMas
Go Big: All of the above + Universo
Gotta Have It: All of the above + El Rey, Univision Deportes
Now that's been settled, let's see what TV channels in Spanish we'll find in Todo y Mas too, since that's a bundle that features over 90 channels.
Todo y Mas: Antena 3, Atres Series, Azteca, BabyTV, Bandamax, beIN Sports en Espanol, Canal 22 Internacional, Canal Once, Caracol TV, Centroamérica TV, Cine Estelar, Cine Mexicano, Cine Nostalgia, Cine Sony, Cinelatino, CNN en Espanol, De Pelicula, De Pelicula Clasico, Discovery en Espanol, Discovery Familia, Ecuador TV, Ecuavisa Internacional, El Rey, Enlacec, ESPN Deportes, Estrella TV, FOROtv, FOX Deportes, FOX Life, Galavision, GolTV, History en Espanol, HITN TV, Hola TV, IVC Net, MegaTV, Multimedios, Nat Geo Mundo, NTN24, Nuestra Tele, Pasiones, Peru Magico, SUR Peru, TeleCentro, Telefe, Telemundo, Tr3s, TV Chile, TVE, TyC Sports, UniMas, Universo, Univision, Univision Deportes Network, Univision Telenovelas, Venevision, VideoRola, ViendoMovies, Vme, WAPA America, ZooMoo.
Give our DirecTV Now review a read before making a decision, to see if all the perks it brings to the table suit your needs.
We hope that you'll be able to easily navigate the OTT world and the channels in Spanish being featured on their lists. There are a few of these that obviously have a larger collection, but you'll have to be the one that needs to make the final decision on which one to move forward with.
