A new show is heading over to USA Network this fall and it's called Treadstone, an action drama series that is based on the Bourne film series.
The series has been a little while in the making, but fans of the Bourne universe will certainly get a kick from it. The main man behind Treadstone is Tim Kring, who also signed series like Heroes, Crossing Jordan, or Strange World.
Treadstone will follow the origin story and present-day actions of a CIA black ops program that is also known as Operation Treadstone. In short, the program uses behavior-modification protocols to turn recruits into nearly superhuman assassins. During the first season, sleeper agents across the globe will "awaken" to carry out their missions.
The show features mostly young and up-and-coming artists, so we're going to get familiar with quite a few names, including Jeremy Irvine, Brian J. Smith, and Omar Metwally.
The new show will be broadcast by USA Network starting with October 15th, and it will run on Sundays at 10 PM, indicating the network has high hopes for the show by putting it in such a timeslot.
The best way to watch Treadstone online is by using fuboTV. Start your fuboTV 7-day free trial! USA Network is a great channel that is supported by quite a few TV streaming platforms, and fuboTV is easily one of the best. The service was originally built for sports lovers, which is obvious if you'll count the dedicated channels available. They've been putting in the effort in the past few months, however, and added loads of entertainment channels, making fuboTV for family-friendly. USA Network is one of the many channels you'll find in fuboTV's main bundle.
The subscription for fuboTV covers about a hundred channels, as well as the ability to watch content on two devices at once and to record up to 30 hours of video to the cloud. Both features can be upgraded by paying a few extra bucks each month. fuboTV works on a wide range of devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, iOS phones and tablets, Roku, and Samsung Smart TVs. (Note: Due to the licensing issue, fuboTV is unavailable outside the US so there is no way you can watch from outside the country unless you connect to a VPN which rotates your IP address and make you look like you are from the US. It's so easy to watch TV online nowadays, thanks to the many live TV platforms that carry our favorite channels, such as fuboTV, Sling TV, and PlayStation Vue, which all feature USA Network. Unfortunately, all these services are also geo-blocked, so you can only watch your favorite shows when you're in the United States. This happens due to licensing deals and can be easily fixed by using ExpressVPN, which is a VPN service that will change your IP address to help trick the system into believing you are still in the US.
Here's everything you need to know to bypass geo-restrictions and how you can watch Treadstone outside of the US:
Treadstone is a show that's broadcast by USA Network, so you should also check their website. More specifically, the USA Network website does feature a live stream, which you can access by logging into an account. You can use credentials from your live TV platforms, such as fuboTV, Sling TV, and PlayStation Vue, as well as from cable providers if you have yet to cut the cord.
The network also has an app that you can download and which will give you access to the live stream, as well as video-on-demand content. The app works for a wide range of platforms, including iOS phones and tablets, Android phones and tablets, Apple TV, Roku, Xbox One S, and Amazon Fire TV. You'll need the same credentials to sign in to an account. The app and the site are also only available from within the United States, so if you travel abroad, you should use ExpressVPN to bypass the geo-blockade. Check out how to do that.
As soon as the episodes start airing, you're going to be able to find them over on the USA Network website. Unfortunately, lately, USA Network shows haven't landed on either Netflix or Hulu, so you won't be able to stream it there just yet unless anything changes.
You will also be able to purchase episodes from Treadstone from platforms like Google Play, YouTube, Microsoft Store, iTunes, Amazon Prime, or Vudu, so make sure to check them all out before paying a dime, as they may have better deals available for you.
