CBS All Access is getting a cool new show, this time based on a novel by Stephen King. The Stand will premiere soon, and we can't wait to watch it.Â
The Stand is a dark fantasy film that welcomes us in an apocalyptic world that was decimated by plague and stuck in a struggle between good and evil. A handful of survivors, alongside Mother Abagail, need to continue on their path and stay away from Randall Flagg - a man with unspeakable powers called the 'Dark Man.'
The series features James Marsden, Amber Heard, Greg Kinnear, Odessa Young, Henry Zaga, Ezra Miller, Heather Graham, Whoopi Goldberg as Mother Abagail, and Alexander Skarsgard as Randall Flagg.Â
The Stand will premiere on CBS All Access on December 17th. There will be nine episodes in total, and we're getting one per week, making the finale fall on February 11th.Â
Here are the names of the episodes:
The Stand will be available on CBS All Access since it's an original show for the platform. You'll need to have a subscription to the service.
They have two options for this - $5.99 per month or $9.99 per month. Limited Commercials, which is the cheaper one, will offer you some ads with your content, while the more expensive subscription gives you access to an ad-free experience. The annual plans cost $59.99 and $99.99 if you'd rather save some money by paying it all in one go.Â
Stream and watch live TV shows, sports events like NFL games, and over 12000 on demand episodes without any delays in programming with CBS All Access.
The platform gives you access to a lot of CBS All Access originals, such as Star Trek: Discovery, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek: Picard, and plenty others.Â
We can enjoy CBS All Access on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Apple TV, Android TV, and other Smart TVs, Chromecast, and plenty of other services.Â
If you're going to travel abroad, you need to know that CBS All Access will no longer be available to access. The platform is geo-blocked, so you can only enjoy it from the United States.Â
We understand how much of a bummer this can be, so we have a solution for you - VPNs. VPNs can route your Internet connection through a server of your choice, alter your IP address, so it makes it seem like you are in the location of your chosen server.Â
We recommend you use ExpressVPN since this is a great tool with thousands of servers all over the world and some great privacy features.Â
You need to subscribe to ExpressVPN, get the app for your device, and find a server in the United States to connect to. Then, you simply have to load CBS All Access and tune in to watch The Stand when new episodes are up. There is also a 30-day money-back guarantee in place, so you're covered if you would like to reconsider your investment.
Once the show starts airing, the episodes will remain available to watch on CBS All Access, so you'll be able to stream them rather easily. Since this is an original show, you won't be able to stream the episodes anywhere else outside CBS All Access.Â
