Police shootings are a hot topic in today's America, so it's no surprise that a new TV show will focus directly on this and the effects such an event have on many lives. If you want to watch The Red Line live online, we can help you out.
The upcoming CBS drama focuses on a much-too-common scenario in the US - a white Chicago cop mistakenly shoots and kills a black doctor. The story follows three different families with a connection to the case and how the incident impacts them all.

The show will have eight episodes and will premiere on April 28, 2019, at 8/7c on CBS, so make sure to tune in.
Well, no. The CBS website doesn't feature a live stream to tune in to and, plus, they're trying to push their own streaming platform, CBS All Access. You can, however, watch CBS live online in many different ways, especially with the help of live TV platforms. Let's dive right into that.
In this day and age, we use the Internet for work, for fun, and anything in between, including watching movies and TV series, so why wouldn't we also use it to watch TV? Cable contracts are always getting expensive, they're nearly impossible to customize and it's very difficult to get out of the contract before it expires. With live TV platforms, things are different because they're much cheaper, you can customize them to a certain degree, and you can cancel anytime you want. Plus, the best part is that you can watch your favorite shows anytime you want, from anywhere you may be because all you need is an Internet connection and a compatible device.
FuboTV - First one on our list is fuboTV, a platform that's transitioning from sports-only to a service that works for the entire family. There are two bundles here, called fubo and fubo Extra, and they both feature CBS. If you want to customize the service, you can add premium networks and channel packs, and fuboTV seeks to make things easier for you by providing you with some cheaper packages where you save money on the add-ons. Check out our fuboTV review for more info.
Hulu - Next, we have Hulu, which is a platform that features a single bundle. Marketed for only $44.99 per month, the price includes access to dozens of channels, including CBS, and the full VOD library. If you want to make the platform yours, there are two packages you can add and several premium networks. Read up on Hulu in our review and get all the details you need before making a decision.
YouTube TV - We must also bring up YouTube TV, a service that's quite awesome and has been around for a while. It only offers one bundle of channels for $40 per month, making things easier for those who don't like having to choose between too many stuff. The only way to customize the service is to add premium channels - and they do have a good selection. Make sure to give our YouTube TV review a read to make sure you know all about those really cool perks subscribers get.
PlayStation Vue - We must also discuss PlayStation Vue, which is one of the best platforms out there. There are four bundles to choose from - Access, Core, Elite, and Ultra. If you're looking for CBS, you can find it in every one of these bundles. To customize the plan, you can add channel packs and a few premium networks. The best part, however, is in the perks and you can read about them in our PlayStation Vue review.
DirecTV Now - Another option is to go for DirecTV Now, a service that has recently undergone a few changes. You can find two new bundles now - Plus and Max - and five older ones that now have new names and a much larger subscription price - Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Ultimate, and Optimo Mas. CBS is part of all seven bundles, so you can choose the one that fits your needs best. In our DirecTV Now review you'll find a lot more data on what the service has to offer.
CBS All Access - We can't move forward without discussing CBS All Access, the network's own platform. The service isn't too expensive, but the price does fall in line with pretty much any other streaming service that only serves one network. You can find a live stream of CBS and loads of TV series as video on demand. Check out our CBS All Access review for more details before making a decision.
Yes, there is. CBS is part of a short list of channels that only works in certain areas in the US. You'd have thought this issue wouldn't expand to live TV platforms since they operate online, but it does. Live TV platforms work like any other website and know your location by looking at your IP address. If you were to use a VPN to change your IP address to indicate you're in a different location where CBS is available, however, your problems would be in the past. Let's see what you need to do.
Since CBS is one of the channels that people can watch over the air with the help of an antenna, this solution works quite well. TV antennas have been popular among cord cutters well before live TV platforms were available. The main advantage of making this switch is that the costs for a device are quite low and you get to watch TV for free afterward. The downside is that the number of channels is pretty limited.
We do recommend that you visit a site like NoCable before making a decision, however, because you may not get CBS over the air in your region. The site will tell you exactly what channels broadcast in your area and which don't and you can also check out what range you should look for when picking an antenna. If it's all ok for you, go ahead and cut the cord and pick an antenna.
Since this is a CBS show, you'll be able to check out the latest episodes of The Red Line directly on their website. The most recent five episodes will be available for free, but as the season progresses, you need to make sure you have an alternative way to watch like a CBS All Access account.
When the show will air, the episodes will also become available for purchase from sites like Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, or Microsoft Store, but right now that's not possible yet. We'll make sure to update with links when the show goes live.
