When we say Disney, do you think of the theme parks as well? Because we sure do! They are amazing, and we feel like there is probably not enough time to check all these amazing rides and wonderful things that populate the parks. In The Imagineering Story, we get to see what lies behind the scenes for these Disney parks, and we intend to watch the documentaries online.
The Imagineering Story is a documentary web series that was created by Leslie Iwerks, who's a Pixar director, and comes from a family that's deeply rooted in Disney - her father was Disney legend Don Iwerks, and her grandfather was Ub Iwerks, animator and co-creator of Mikey Mouse.
The show focuses on the Walt Disney "Imagineering" and takes a look into the history and creation of the Walt Disney theme parks and attractions from around the world, how they push themselves to bring more magic in front of visitors, and also how they create new projects to keep on going and to keep the dream alive.
The Imagineering Story began streaming on Disney+ on November 12th, 2019, along with the platform launch. It is unclear exactly how many episodes we're going to get, but the second one is already scheduled for November 15th, after which we're going to see them weekly.
The Imagineering Story is an original Disney+ show, so you can only watch it on Disney+. In order to do this, you will need to set up an account, and you can choose to pay $6.99 every month, or you can pay $69.99 for the full year. You can start your 7-day free trial on Disney+ now! In the United States, users can also choose to bundle up Disney+ with Hulu and ESPN+ for $12.99 per month. The prices in other countries where Disney+ is available may vary.
Disney+ works on a wide range of devices, including Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, iOS and Android phones and tablets, Chromecast, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, as well as your browsers. Disney+ is currently available in the United States, Canada, and The Netherlands, with Australia and New Zealand getting it on November 15th. (Note: Not all shows are available in all markets, so you should check to see if The Imagineering Story is even available in your location.)

Unfortunately for you, there is no other way to watch this particular documentary because it was specifically created for Disney+, so there's no other platform to carry it. The episodes are unavailable for purchase on platforms like Google Play or iTunes, but we will check again in case they show up in the next few days.
We cannot wait for you to tell us what you love most about the Disney parks or what you're hoping to experience when you eventually visit them.
