When you turn a book into a TV series, you need to follow the story closely or the fans are going to throw tomatoes after you. Well, that's the case with Sweetbitter, a STARZ show that fans hope will be much better on its second season. Nonetheless, that season premiere is close enough that we'll soon know how much fans actually love it.
The show tells the story of Tess, a woman who moves to New York City and gets a job at a restaurant. New to the big city, she quickly gets involved with drugs, drinking, and a life that's far more chaotic than what she's been used to. Ella Purnell takes the role of Tess, while other roles are taken by Tom Sturridge, Caitlin FitzGerald, and Evan Jonigkeit, to name a few.

The new Sweetbitter season premieres on July 14th on STARZ, at 8 PM. Let's see how you can watch this whole thing online.
Nowadays, we use the Internet for pretty much anything so we've become accustomed to getting to access everything everywhere we go. Well, when it comes to Live streams, streaming services, and live TV services, the "everywhere" part stops at the border. Licensing deals prevent all these platforms from streaming content abroad, which is quite annoying, but perfectly regular. If you want to bypass the whole issue, you need to change your IP address to trick the system into thinking you're still in the United States. We suggest you subscribe to a VPN service to make things that much easier. We'll guide you through the process.
Yes! Sweetbitter is a Starz show, so you can watch it on the network's website via the live stream it has available. There's a catch, however - you need to log into an account, for which you need to have TV provider credentials, proof that you pay for Starz somewhere. You can also subscribe to Starz directly.
We live in the digital era, so it makes perfect sense that we also get to watch TV online. The live TV platforms that have been launched in the past few years feature tons of channels for much cheaper than cable offers. Plus, there's no contract involved, so you can quit your subscription whenever you feel like it. We must also mention that you get to watch your favorite shows wherever you may be when they start airing, which is a great advantage. Let's see which platforms will help you get to watch Sweetbitter
Sling TV - First up, we have Sling TV, which is a great platform with tons of customization options. There are three bundles you can get as you start off, namely Orange, Blue, and Orange + Blue. We're going to give you a tip - if you pick the latter, you're going to get to watch TV on four devices at the same time. You can build upon these bundles by adding loads of channel packs and plenty of premium networks, including Starz, for which you have to pay $9 per month.
Starz - We can't go on without actually mentioning Starz as well since you can subscribe directly to the service. Right now, they have a deal where you get 7 days for free and then you pay only $5 per month for the first three months before the price goes back to normal - $8.99 per month. You can watch unlimited content in HD or download the episodes if you'd rather watch them offline. You can also watch live content and anything else you want on up to four devices at the same time. Starz has dedicated apps for iOS (smartphones, tablets, and iPods) Android (smartphones and tablets), Amazon (tablets and smartphones), Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Fire Stick, Android TV, Roku, Xbox One, Xbox One S, select Sony, Samsung, and LG TV Smart TVs. You can also watch via browsers - Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Hulu - We also have Hulu on the list, which is a platform with a single bundle of channels. The subscription price is set at $44.99 per month and includes access to dozens of channels and Hulu's VoD library. Starz is available as a premium network for $8.99 per month, but you can also get it if you have a simple VoD Hulu subscription. With the live TV service, you can also add other premium networks and a couple of channel packs.
YouTube TV - The list continues with YouTube TV, which is another single-bundle platform that provides users with access to a ton of channels for $49.99 per month. There are loads of premium networks you can add to the platform, including Starz, which costs $9 per month, but there are no channel packs. Either way, you'll quite enjoy the platform features such as unlimited cloud DVR storage space.
DirecTV Now - Lastly, we have DirecTV Now, which is a great platform with seven bundles to pick between. Two of them, namely Plus ($50/mo) and Max ($70/mo) were added earlier this year, but the other five were simply given a new name and new price - Entertainment ($93/mo), Choice ($110/mo), Extra ($124/mo), Ultimate ($135/mo), and Optimo Mas ($86/mo). You can customize the plan a bit by adding some packs featuring Spanish or international channels, as well as premium networks. Getting Starz via DirecTV Now will cost you $11 per month.
Yes, you can watch Sweetbitter online straight on Starz' website. In order to get access to the episodes you need to log into an account and you can use your TV provider credentials to get in, including live TV services such as the ones we mentioned above. You can also stream the season via Hulu if you have a subscription or thinking about getting one.
You can also purchase the Sweetbitter episodes straight from other platforms such as YouTube, Google Play, iTunes, Microsoft Store, Vudu, or Amazon Prime. You should check all links in case any of them have deals running for this particular series.
