Disney+ is preparing for an awesome documentary series called Marvel's 616. The series will premiere in November, but we're already getting pumped to learn more.
Marvel's 616 is a show that will explore the rich legacy of pioneering characters, creators, and storytellers. Each episode will showcase how pop culture, storytelling, and the wonderful Marvel fandom mingles perfectly into this great Universe.
It sure does, and you can check it below and see how the Universe comes together, how artists come together to make this incredible feel like home for anyone who reads the comics or watches the movies.
This upcoming docuseries will focus on some important issues relating to the Marvel Universe and its impacts on the world. Each episode is directed by a filmmaker and focuses on certain aspects of the comics and films, like the Japanese Spider-Man, the cosplay culture, high school plays, and more.
There are going to be eight episodes in this docuseries, and we'll get to watch them all soon enough. We also know the episode titles, so we get to know what they will be about:
Marvel's 616 will be available exclusively on Disney+ starting with November 20. All episodes will be uploaded at the same time, so you can take the day off and binge-watch them all.
Marvel's 616 will have each episode directed by a new filmmaker, giving their own spin to the documentary and the message they should put out there. The episodes are directed by David Gelb, Gillian Jacobs, Clay Jeter, Paul Scheer, Andrew Rossi, Sarah Ramos, Brian Oakes, and Alison Brie.
