The Grinch is a character that is known everywhere thanks to Dr. Seuss, and we've seen quite a few movies and animations come to life in the past, but this time around, we have a musical on our hands. We cannot wait to watch The Grinch Musical, and we're going to do it online, so let's go see what we need to do to make it work.
The Grinch Musical is an NBC production that features Matthew Morrison in the iconic role of The Grinch. Featuring the actor in a full costume, this musical hopes to allow us to watch something that we haven't been able to in the past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic as cinemas closed and shows have not been played. Besides Morrison, joining him on stage will be Denis O’Hare as adult Max, Booboo Stewart as young Max, and Amelia Minto as Cindy-Lou Who.
This musical version of The Grinch was previously seen on Broadway back in 2006 and 2007, and it features lyrics by Tim Mason and music by Mel Marvin.
The Grinch Musical will premiere on NBC on December 9th, and you'll be able to watch the whole thing starting at 8:00 PM.
If you're hoping to follow The Grinch Musical online, that's going to be fairly easy to do because there are loads of platforms that carry NBC. One of our favorites to go for is Sling TV, which has three bundles of networks. Only two of them feature NBC, namely Blue and Orange + Blue.
Sling is the live TV you love for less. Customize your channel lineup and watch TV online with no setup, hidden fees or long-term contracts.
Before you make a choice, you need to know that the bundles differ in combination and price and the number of simultaneous streams supported by your profile. More specifically, Blue subscribers get three simultaneous streams, and Orange + Blue subscribers get four of them. On top of the bundles, you can add extra channel packs and premium networks in order to customize a subscription exactly how you want it.
Sling TV works on pretty much any platform out there, including iOS and Android smartphones and tablets and smart TVs running on Android or iOS, Roku, Chromecast, and plenty others.
While we do love the versatility that Sling TV brings to the table, there are plenty of other platforms you could be looking into as well.
Hulu is a great single-bundle service that features dozens of networks, including NBC, making it easy to watch The Grinch Musical. There are a bunch of extra channel packs and premium networks that you can add to your account, as well as loads of add-ons to expand the cloud DVR storage space capacity or the number of simultaneous streams that are allowed on your account. One really cool thing about subscribing to the Hulu Live TV service is that you'll also get access to the On-Demand library. Start your free trial on Hulu now!
You also have the option of fuboTV, which is another single-bundle service where you find NBC. There are many extra channel packs and premium networks that you can add to your account, but you can also go for one of the premade plans, where you will find all of these at discount prices. Start your free trial on fuboTV now!
If you happen to be traveling abroad when The Grinch Musical is set to broadcast on NBC, then you should know that you'll still be able to watch the whole thing. To do so, you will need a VPN to help you bypass the geo-blockade installed on all live TV services from the United States.
A VPN can route your internet connection and make it appear like you are in a different location by assigning a new IP address to your device. We recommend you use ExpressVPN since it's one of the best tools we ever tested. Not only does it feature thousands of servers all over the world, but it also comes with some really great privacy features thanks to the encryption protocols they have.
You need to subscribe to ExpressVPN (49% OFF) and then get the apps for your device, find a server in the United States, and connect to it. When that connection is established, you can go ahead and load Sling TV, tune in to NBC, and start watching The Grinch Musical from anywhere you may be.
ExpressVPN has a 30-day money-back guarantee policy, so if you have any problems, you can always ask for a refund.
It is unclear at this point what exactly is going to happen with The Grinch Musical, but usually, NBC is one to upload videos to its platform and allow people to enjoy it online. It could also end up over on Peacock since that's the streaming platform that belongs to NBC.
Even so, if you'll be able to watch The Grinch Musical on the NBC website, you might be required to log in to an account, which you can do with credentials from your TV provider.
