Sitcoms are always particularly fun to follow, but Black-ish is in a league of its own. Thankfully, a new season is drawing close so you can have another go at watching your favorites. This time, we plan to do it online, so come join us.

Black-ish first aired back in September 2014, so it is now at its sixth season. The show follows an upper-middle-class African-American family and it handles both their lives, complete with personal and sociopolitical issues.

Andre Johnson (played by Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow Johnson (played by Tracee Ellis Ross) are the family's leaders. Laurence Fishburne also makes recurrent appearances, among many other big names in Hollywood.

The show has received critical acclaim, receiving Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. Tracee Ellis Ross even won the Golden Globe for Best Actress.

When and Where to Watch Black-ish?

The sixth season of Black-ish will start airing on September 24th and it will take over the 9:30/8:30c time slot on ABC so you get to clear up your evenings to watch the new episodes.

How Can I Livestream Black-ish?

It is quite easy to watch content online nowadays, especially if it comes from a channel like ABC. In fact, if you want to watch the show online, your best option is PlayStation Vue! Start your 7-day free trial on PlayStation Vue!

PlayStation Vue is one of the best platforms on the market and it features some really great features that we're sure you're going to love, such as the possibility to watch content on up to five devices at once and to record up to 500 programs with the cloud DVR function. There are four bundles you can try out on PlayStation Vue, namely Access, Core, Elite, and Ultra, and ABC is part of all four of them. You can add a couple of channel packs to your subscription if you want, as well as several premium networks. If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you may get better prices for some of these.

PlayStation Vue works on a multitude of platforms, including PS3, PS4, Amazon Fire TVs, Android TVs, Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS, and Android smartphones and tablets, and Roku, but comes with no Xbox support at the moment. Of course, you can also watch via your browser. (Note: PlayStation Vue is a platform that is only available in the United States, so if you want to travel abroad and continue watching the shows you love, you'll need a VPN to make it happen. Click here to learn how to do to this.)

Here's what you need to do to set up a PlayStation Vue account and start your 7-day free trial:

Other Ways to Watch Black-ish

YouTube TV - One great platform on our list is YouTube TV, which gives all subscribers the possibility of recording unlimited numbers of videos to the Cloud. There's only one bundle of channels here and ABC is part of it, and you can't customize your plan beyond adding premium networks.
Hulu - Hulu is another great option, as your live TV subscription price includes access to the video-on-demand library. ABC is part of the main bundle, but you can add a couple of channel packs and premium networks if you want more content.

What Can I Do to Watch Black-ish Outside of the United States?

Whenever you travel abroad, you'll notice that you can no longer access the streaming and live TV platforms that you subscribe to. This happens due to licensing deals that PlayStation Vue, YouTube TV, or Hulu have. Basically, they can't allow broadcasts to take place outside of the US. In this case, your best solution is to change your IP address, so a VPN can come in handy so you can do this in just a few seconds. We only recommend ExpressVPN since it's one of the best on the market and comes with great security and privacy features and thousands of servers across the world.

Here's what you need to do to use ExpressVPN so you can watch Black-ish when traveling abroad:

Can I Watch Black-ish on ABC's Website?

Yes, that's something that you can easily do. ABC features a live stream on its website that you can check out quite easily. The only "problem" is that you need to log in to an account with the help of credentials from your TV provider, whether that's a live TV service or a cable company. Either way, you should prove to ABC that you pay for a TV subscription that includes their network. (Note: ABC's website is geoblocked, so if you want to watch when you're traveling abroad, you'll need a VPN to bypass the blockade. Click here to learn how to do this easily.)

Can I watch Black-ish With a TV Antenna?

ABC is one of the few channels left that broadcasts over the air, so you'll be able to use a TV antenna to watch the show if you want to. TV antennas are super cool because they're cheap to purchase and you get to watch content for free.

We advise you to visit a site like NoCable which can tell you what channels broadcast over the air in your location by looking at your zip code. You'll also get details about how far from you the broadcast stations are located so you can figure out what range you need your device to cover so you watch as many channels as possible. When it comes to the right device, we've given you a suggestion, but you can do your own research if you want more options.

Can I Binge-Watch Black-ish?

You most certainly can do this! You'll find that some episodes are available on ABC's website, but you won't be able to enjoy the full show there. Instead, if you have a Hulu VoD subscription, or you've chosen the Hulu live TV plan, you can watch all Black-ish seasons.

Can I Purchase Black-ish?

Yes, that is something that you can do. You will find Black-ish episodes available to purchase on platforms like Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, and Microsoft Store. Make sure to check all the links before making a purchase as they each have their own deals, depending on what episodes and seasons you're looking to buy.
