If you like dark comedies, you are quite likely already watching Barry over on HBO. So, let's go ahead and learn how you can watch Barry live online.
Barry first aired back in March 2018 and it's currently on its second season which is set to end in early May. In fact, HBO has announced in early April that there will be a third season of Barry, so we guess the ratings were more than ok if this decision was made.
Plus, Barry has managed to win two Emmy awards, which certainly counts for something. If you want to watch the last episodes of Barry live online, you can tune in to HBO on Sundays at 7 PM EST. Let's see what options you have to watch the show.
In this day and age, we use the Internet for pretty much everything, so it makes perfect sense to also upgrade the way you watch TV. There are, after all, so many advantages to making this move. First off, you can watch TV for way less since live TV platforms are so much cheaper than regular cable, and you can also cancel your subscription whenever you feel like it since there are no contracts to tie you down. These platforms also allow users to customize their plans to some extent, so you can pay for the channels you love most. The best part, however, is the freedom you get to watch your shows wherever you are when they start airing, whether that's at work, on the bus, or at home; all you need is a smartphone and an internet connection.
HBO Now and HBO Go - At the top of the list we have HBO's own platforms, namely HBO Go and HBO Now. The content is the same throughout them both, but it does differ the way you log into them since Go needs credentials from a TV provider, while on HBO Now you can subscribe directly. The price is the same $15 per month you pay anywhere.
Amazon Prime - Those who haven't yet subscribed to Amazon Prime should probably consider it, given all the perks you get - speedy shipping, Prime Video, Prime Music, ebooks, and so on. If you want, you can also pay for HBO, which will cost you the regular $15 per month, but you'd get to bundle up the payments.
Hulu - Hulu is up next on the list, and it's a great service. The live TV platform costs $44.99 per month and includes access to dozens of channels, as well as the full video on demand library the platform has at its disposal. If you want to customize the service you can add channel packs and several premium networks, including HBO for $15 per month. You can even get HBO with the VOD plans if you want.
DirecTV Now - The list continues with DirecTV Now, which is a versatile platform that features seven bundles in total. Two of them are completely new, namely Plus ($50/mo) and Max ($70/mo), and they both feature HBO by default. The other five bundles have been around for a while and they're called Entertainment, Choice, Xtra, Unlimited, and Optimo Mas, although they had a different name in early March and cost half of what they do now. If you want one of these, you'll have to add HBO for $15 per month. You can also add other premium networks, a few packs featuring Spanish channels, and several international packs.
PlayStation Vue - A great platform that made our list is PlayStation Vue, which offers four different bundles to pick from - Acces, Core, Elite, and Ultra. The latter, which costs $79.99 per month comes with about a hundred channels and HBO included, as well as Showtime. If you want any of the other three bundles, you can still add HBO as an add-on for $15 per month. There are also channel packs you can add if you want more channels, as well as other premium networks.
Live TV platforms and streaming services are wonderful... until you need to travel abroad. Due to licensing deals these companies have, you can't stream content when you're outside of the United States. Even though this is quite annoying, it's perfectly common. All these platforms, however, work like any other website and know where you are by reading your IP address. This is good news because IP addresses are super easy to change. Here's what you need to do.
Well, the obvious place you can watch Barry in is on HBO's own platforms. If you've subscribed directly to HBO via Now, there's no confusion about where you can watch the show, but if you have an account with the live TV platforms, you can use the credentials to sign into Go and Now. More specifically, if you chose DirecTV Now, you can watch on HBO Go, but if you chose Hulu, PlayStation Vue, or Amazon Prime, you can watch on HBO Now.
There is also the option to purchase Barry episodes and seasons from platforms like Amazon Prime, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, iTunes, or Microsoft Store. Before buying, make sure to check them all out in case one of them offers a deal.
