Whenever you make a big decision in your life you look for a way to also take something you love with you. When that big decision is cutting the cord and taking your TV watching online, that something you love is a TV channel. So, if you want to be able to watch American Heroes Channel without cable, we have you covered.
American Heroes Channel, formerly Military Channel, and Discovery Wings Channel before that, has been around for two decades and it features programming revolving around the military, warfare, military science and so on.
Over cable, American Heroes Channel reaches nearly 60 million households over cable, but it's also present on four different Live TV Streaming platforms. Let's find out which.
We're kicking off the list by mentioning Sling TV, which is a great live TV service, allowing subscribers to customize their plans to a T. You start off with one of three bundles - Orange ($25/mo), Blue ($25/mo), and Orange + Blue ($40/mo). Then, you can add any number of extra channel packs, depending on your interests, or one of those premium networks with top-quality content. American Heroes is present in the Heartland extra, which means you'll have to pay an additional $5 per month to watch it. TechNadu has a Sling TV review ready if you want more details.
Next up, we have Philo, a platform that makes choosing easy since it only has two bundles to pick from and no room for customization. Philo's two bundles are suggestively called 40 Channels and 49 Channels and cost $16 per month and $20 per month, respectively. American Heroes Channel is present in the 49 Channels bundle, so you only have one option to get the network you want here and you can easily subscribe to Philo and get it. Check out our Philo review to figure out if this is the right platform for you.
Following, we have Sony's PlayStation Vue, a great platform that features four starter bundles you can pick from. These are Access ($44.99/mo), Core ($49.99/mo), Elite ($59.99/mo), and Ultra ($79.99/mo). American Heroes Channel is only present on the lists of two of these bundles, namely Elite and Ultra, so you don't have loads of wiggle room. If you'll go for Ultra, however, you'll also have access to HBO and Showtime. Either way, subscribing to PlayStation Vue is a great thing you can do, as the service scored highest in our reviews. Read our PlayStation Vue review to find out all the details you need to make an informed decision.
Another great option to watch American Heroes Channel is Hulu. A while back, the platform that's best known for the video-on-demand service added a live-TV plan for $44.99 per month. There are also a couple of extra channel packs you can get, including Entertainment Add-on, which costs $7.99 per month and includes, among other networks, the American Heroes Channel. Make sure to give our Hulu review a read.
American Heroes Channel is a great network for those who love to find out everything there is to know about military, wars, or even the mafia, so it's easy to figure out why you'd want to be able to watch it once you quit cable.
