The Very Scary People series narrates the most gruesome crimes by covering the nefarious minds that orchestrated them. The series reconstructs the crimes with in-depth interviews, personal firsthand accounts, archival footage, and more. Every episode puts its spotlight on a criminal who terrorized their communities. Season 6 opens with the case of Anthony Sowell who looked like an ordinary member of Cleveland. 

But he used his charm to lure unsuspecting women inside his house and once they fell into his trap, he unleashed unbearable horrors on them. Other cases covered include a serial killer called Scott Kimball, who posed as an FBI informant; a diabolical bodybuilding gang that inspired a film; a boxing star who is a killer; a drug kingpin named Clarence Heatley, who had New York City in his palm; and more.
