Verizon is sweetening the deal for its users by throwing in Hulu and ESPN+ alongside Disney+ for 12 months for free. Customers with unlimited plans on Verizon were already getting Disney+ for free for a full year, but now those that have the Play More or Get More unlimited plans will have access to the extended bundle that includes Disney+, as well as Hulu and ESPN+.
Not surprisingly, the Play More and Get More plans are the most expensive options offered by Verizon. However, there's a difference. The promo code only extended to 12 months of Disney+, but they're now getting continued access as long as they are paying the required price for the Verizon plans. The new plans are to go in effect on August 20th.
"Existing customers currently receiving 12 months access to Disney Plus on us can move to our new Play More and Get More Unlimited plans with The Disney Bundle included, or for $6 per month they can stay in their current plan and add both ESPN Plus and Hulu to complete The Disney Bundle," reads the Verizon press release.
The Play More Unlimited plan costs $45 per month for a four-line plan, and you get 5G data, six months of free access to Apple Music, and the aforementioned Disney+ & Hulu & ESPN+ bundle.
Get More Unlimited costs $55 per month and includes 5G data, 30GB of high-speed tethering, free Apple Music, and access to the Disney+ bundle that includes Hulu and ESPN+.
If you go for the most expensive plans you can get on Verizon, you're getting more freebies. Clearly, they're trying to attract more people to this plan, but it all boils down to whether or not it makes sense to pay Verizon for that plan or if you can get away with paying $12.99 to pay for the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle yourself and picking another plan.
That's for you to do the math for - while taking into consideration your family's necessities.
