Plot

Hosted by LeVar Burton (Reading Rainbow, Roots), this new adaptation of the classic board game "Trivial Pursuit" features players competing in three rounds of trivia across six iconic categories for a chance to win $20,000.

Burton expressed excitement about partnering with Hasbro and eOne to turn the iconic game into a premium television experience. 

Originally launched in 1981, Trivial Pursuit has sold over 100 million copies and has become a cultural phenomenon. The CW’s “reimagined” version stays true to its roots, featuring an oversized version of the classic game board with giant wedges, adding a fresh dynamic to the show.
