The PGA Championship 2019-2020 is coming to a close with the Tour Championship. We cannot wait to watch this event online, so let's go ahead and see how we can do this.
This year's PGA Tour season has suffered major alterations due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the many events that were either postponed or altogether canceled. Nonetheless, they've persevered, and we are close to knowing who manages to become the PGA Player of the year.
The Tour Championship winner also gets to be the FedEx Cup champion, so there's even more to celebrate. The current champion is Rory McIlroy, so we're sure he's hoping for another win at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.
This year's Tour Championship will take place from September 4th to September 7th. The event is covered on TV by Golf Channel and NBC.
You can check the schedule below, so you know when to tune in.
If you want to keep up with the Tour Championship, you have two channels to follow. Luckily for you, they're well covered by live TV services, so you can enjoy them online rather easily. fuboTV is one of our favorite platforms to work with, as it features all the channels you need - NBC and Golf Channel. Furthermore, since it was originally a sports-oriented service, it also features dozens of dedicated networks.
Watch Your Favorite Shows, Movies & Sports ON ANY DEVICE. ANYTIME. ANYWHERE. Watch and DVR the channels you love. No contracts, no commitment.
fuboTV comes with about one hundred channels in the main bundle, and even more, are packed up separately. Premium networks are also available to purchase. Moreover, the main bundle is part of several plans, many of which have extra packs - and since they have discounts, you may want to check those out too. Add-ons are also available if you want to expand the cloud DVR storage space or the number of simultaneous streams.
fuboTV works on loads of devices, including iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, and more.
While fuboTV is our favorite since it comes with so many sports networks, there are other options too.
Hulu is home to both channels, too, featuring dozens of networks in the main bundle. Those who want more networks can head over to the extra channel packs they have available or their premiums. When using Hulu's Live TV service, you should know you'll also have access to the On-Demand library, so you have more content to enjoy. Start your free trial on Hulu now!
On Sling TV, you'll find a lot of customization options. There are three bundles here, but we suggest you go for either Blue or Orange + Blue as they're the ones where you can find NBC. Furthermore, Golf Channel is present in the Sports Extra pack that goes with the bundles mentioned above - it will cost you an additional $10 per month for an impressive list of networks. There are many other packs you can get, as well as premium networks, so there's lots of stuff to watch. Watch 3 Days Free on Sling TV Now!
If you're traveling outside of the US right when Tour Championship is on, you'll manage to enjoy it all with a little bit of help. As you know, live TV services and streaming platforms are geo-blocked, so you can't watch anything if you're not in the US.
In that case, you'll need to find a way to bypass the blockade entirely, which can be done easily with the help of a VPN. VPNs can help change your IP by routing your Internet connection through their servers, which enables you to appear as if you're in the selected location.
Our recommendation is to go for ExpressVPN, as it's a service with thousands of servers and loads of great protections for your privacy. It's also easy to use.
You simply have to subscribe to ExpressVPN (49% OFF), get the corresponding apps, look for a server in the US, and connect to it. Once the connection goes green, you can load fuboTV and start watching Tour Championship.
This time around, watching the Tour Championship with an antenna is also possible to do. However, the only rounds you'll be able to enjoy in this manner are the last two - the ones that are broadcast by NBC. TV Antennas are relatively cheap, they're easy to set up and to use, and they allow people to watch local channels for free.
If you're unsure whether NBC is available in your area, you can check a site like NoCable to find out more details, including how far the broadcast stations are from your location. This bit of information will come in handy to figure out what range needs to be covered by your device so that you can enjoy as many networks as possible.
