Filming for Time Cut was initially scheduled to take place in Winnipeg, Canada, from June 21 to July 28, 2021. However, filming commenced on July 6 and wrapped up in August 2021. The cinematography was handled by Tony Mirza and Halyna Hutchins, who worked on the project before her final film, Rust. Although the production utilized unloaded firearms, standard safety protocols were rigorously followed to ensure the safety of the entire cast and crew  .
