Plot

The Real Full Monty is a two-hour special that brings together a group of male celebrities to raise awareness for prostate, testicular, and colorectal cancer.

Inspired by the 1997 film, the show follows Emmy-nominated actor Anthony Anderson as he leads stars like Taye Diggs, Chris Jones, Tyler Posey, Bruno Tonioli, and James Van Der Beek in an unforgettable performance. Together, they will confront their limits and strip away the stigma surrounding cancer by training for a strip-tease dance, culminating in a final disrobing before a live audience.

Throughout the journey, these men will bond and share personal stories of how cancer has touched their lives. Choreographed by Emmy Award-winner Mandy Moore, the special pushes these celebrities beyond their comfort zones, testing their modesty and forging a powerful sense of brotherhood.

The special is based on the internationally successful format that premiered in the UK in 2017 and has since expanded globally. The US version aims to replicate its success, using humor, heart, and vulnerability to inspire men to prioritize their health.
