The Parenting is a horror comedy film about a young gay couple, Rohan and Josh, who want their parents to meet each other. So, they come up with a plan- a weekend getaway in the country. Away from the noise of the city, they hope that the peace of the countryside will help the parents get along.
However, things go wrong when the more traditional Sharon and Frank clash with the laid-back Liddy and Cliff. As if this battle of cultures and morals wasn't enough, the families realize that their rental is possessed by a 400-year-old poltergeist.Â
To make things worse, when one of the parents becomes possessed, it’s up to the couple and their BFF Sara to unite the families and save everyone. But it finally put an end to this supernatural menace once and for all? That might be easier said than done.Â
