Plot

How did The Irrational Season 1 end?

The first season of The Irrational concluded with Dr. Alec Mercer, the behavioral science expert, finally uncovering answers two decades in the making. He and his ex-wife resolved the mystery of the church fire that tragically claimed 13 lives and left him with severe scars.

In the season one finale, Episode 11, the identity of the bomber was revealed in a shocking twist that took everyone by surprise, including FBI agent Clark. It turned out that the bomber was none other than Clark’s supervisor at the FBI, Agent Bob Caswith, portrayed by Garry Chalk. Operating under the alias Mathias, he was also responsible for the death of Jace Richards, who played a key role in solving the bombing case and exposing him.

Filming

Filming for the second season commenced on March 11, 2024, and is expected to wrap up by October 31, 2024. Filming locations include Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
