The "Time Flies" event was concluded in about an hour, presenting the new iPads and the Watch Series 6, while leaving iPhone fans cold. If you're one of them, you shouldn't hold a grudge against Apple, as the iPhone is coming very soon anyway. According to multiple sources, leakers, production-line rumors, etc., it's going to happen next month.

Normally, the iPhone 12 should have landed today, along with the rest of the products that were presented in the event. However, the COVID-19 situation has caused severe disruption in supply chains, and a product that's made is such high volumes couldn't be unaffected.

As for the exact date in October, there are many guesses out there, but not all are equally good. The most reliable rumors, if there's even such a thing, place the event either on October 13 or on October 14. That said, it is important to clarify that Apple has not made any clarification statements on this matter, and denied to respond to all of the relevant requests for comment.
