The DC Universe streaming platform has gone live! Announced in April of 2017, the platform has gone live on Batman's Day, September 15th.
Subscribers can watch DC movies and shows, browse through hundreds of comics, join the fans in chats on various topics, read the news of the DC Universe, or visit the encyclopedia of characters. You can even go shopping for apparel if you wish.
"There's no better day to launch DC Universe officially than September 15th, Batman Day! We've got tons of Batman goodness for you, including six live-action feature films, animated movies including this year's Batman Ninja, and Batman: The Animated Series in glorious HD," the announcement reads.
They also plan to bring even more content to the table, including the ability to purchase the entire DC digital comics library, original series, and more.
The platform is only available within the United States as of now, and you'll have to subscribe to get access. After a 7-day free trial, you'll have to pay $7.99 per month or $74.99 for a full year. You can pay either with your credit card, or a PayPal account.
Overall, this seems like a good deal, especially since you get a lot more than movies and shows, which you can watch on other platforms too, such as the comics, which are the heart and soul of the DC Universe.
