The Challenge All Stars: Rivals is here right after the 40th season of The Challenge. The show, hosted by TJ Lavin, pairs up the redemption seekers and power players with their biggest rivals. The first episode has already premiered on MTV and it’s time to find out what happened.

The Major Twist of The Challenge All Stars: Rivals

Many of the contestants have intense rivalries with each other, like Turbo, who wants to send Nany home after she ruined his plans in Ride or Dies. However, the twist in this show is that the 26 All Stars will have to work together in teams if they want a piece of the $300,000 grand prize.

So now, Turbo and Nany have to work with each other. After TJ pairs all of them up, they go to their new house where Jonna breaks down at just the prospect of having to work with Beth. This is because Beth had begun a rumor in their last season that Jonna was cheating on her husband.

This forced her to go through marriage counseling for many months. Beth did apologize to Jonna for what she did, but the latter didn’t believe anything she said.

The First Challenge Winners

In the first challenge, the participants would have to earn stars to secure a place in TJ’s final. In the premiere episode, the top four teams got the stars. During the Frenemies challenge, the participants raced to complete the 3 different checkpoints- Ice Transfer, Mudbath, and the Ball-Ance Gurney. The teams that took the 4 spots and got gold stars are:

1. Adam & Steve
2. Devin & Leroy
3. Ashley K. & Dario
4. Nany & Turbo
