If you're a fan of slasher horrors, we have good news for you. After the success of Terrifier 2 featuring the bloody Art the Clown, the franchise is back with Terrifier 3. And this time, Christmas is early! The movie is produced by Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting, and a new full-length trailer has finally dropped.

In the previous Terrifier movie, we saw Sienna beheading Art the Clown, and his killing partner picked up the head and left. In the end credit scene, we see the first Terrifier's surviving victim give birth to Art's head, which was alive and smiling at a shocked nurse.

David Howard Thornton, who plays Art, said in an interview about Terrifier 3, "There’s one particular thing I have a hard time stomaching. I don’t want to say what it was, but I almost vomited. Of course, everybody thought it was hysterical that I was having that reaction. Like: ‘Oh, we finally got him!'” There’s one sequence in the threequel that will be very controversial… People are gonna be surprised by the depravity that we get up to in that scene."

Director Damien Leone has said that the third installment will be the most horrific one yet. He said, "One of my main goals for Terrifier 3 is to recapture the creep factor present in the original Terrifier short film. That had a genuinely spooky atmosphere that I’m still proud of."

In this article, we will provide all the information you need about the slasher film's release date, plot details, cast, trailers and teasers, and more. Check it out!

Release date & Where to Watch

Originally slated for an Oct. 25 release, Terrifier 3 will now premiere in theatres on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024. It will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024.

Plot

Sienna and her brother are trying hard to rebuild their lives, which were destroyed after they barely survived Art the Clown’s Halloween massacre. As the holiday season fast approaches, they try to leave the horrors of the past behind and participate in the Christmas festivities. However, things soon go awry as Art the Clown returns, turning their world upside down. They are no longer safe, and the holiday season soon turns into a nightmare, thanks to Art’s twisted brand of terror.

Cast

Trailer

Here's the "Naughty Cut" full trailer. We see Art entertaining children, laughing from the mouth hole in his disembodied head, and making snow angels in the blood of all the people he’s murdered.

Earlier, a first-look teaser trailer was also released, and you can watch it here. The video shows a child coming downstairs on Christmas Eve, hoping to see Santa Claus. However, the person downstairs turns out to be Art the Clown, with a blood-splattered face, instead of Saint Nick.

In the second teaser trailer, we see Art hacking and slashing his way through new victims. Sienna is still searching for the evil clown. The trailer ends with Art making a snow angel in blood.
