Telegram Messenger now encrypts voice calls with emoji keys to make calls even more secure

Telegram, a popular messaging app has taken more efforts to build a Telegram calls that are the best interns of quality, speed, and security. Today, the company rolling out Voice calls in Western Europe. With this voice call, functionality comes a new security verification feature as well as emojis codes.

Telegram now offer end to end encryption, and back 2013 it introduced the key verification code method to prevent the middle attacks. This time, Telegram introduced a key exchange mechanism to make the calls are even more secure.

In Telegram, your call is 100% secure, you and your recipient just need to compare four emoji over the phone, the emoji are not lengthy codes or complicated pictures.

If the peer-to-peer can't be established, Telegram will use the closest server to connect you with the person you're calling in the fastest way possible. Once you connect voice calls, a tab for calls appears on the main screen of the app.

The latest v3.18 version of the app also offers users direct control over the quality of videos you shared the platform. Other features include the ability to use less data by switching on a data optimizer and rapid access to calls on both Android and iOS.This feature is rolled out in Western Europe today, later in worldwide.
