Survive: All we know About the Creature and Survival Horror

A family birthday celebration on a boat, a sudden meteor strike that does something which alters the Earth, what will happen to the family now? This is the question that Survive poses. This survival and creature horror has unleashed a trailer that shows multiple morphed ocean creatures out to get the family.

Survive will be released in limited theaters on Friday, Jan. 10, 2025. 

What is the plot of Survive?

Survive is a creature-horror film set in the middle of the ocean. In the film, a couple plan on celebrating their son’s birthday in the middle of the ocean on their boat. However, their idyllic vacation gets disrupted when a sudden meteor shower-like thing hits the ocean, making the entire ocean retreat onto the mainland.

This sudden change leaves the family scrambling. They succeed in contacting someone who tells them to walk to the safeland. Now, the family will have to undertake a perilous journey to reach that place on foot before the ocean comes back. But with hungry and morphed ocean creatures, it’s easier said than done.

Is There a Survive Trailer?

A trailer has been released, and it begins with a family celebrating the birthday of their son on their boat. However, soon a meteor hits the ocean, creating huge waves. The family retreats inside the boat. But when they emerge the next day, they find that they are on solid land. The ocean or water is nowhere to be seen. 

The four of them will now have to undertake a tough journey to cross the land before the water comes rushing back. But with weird creatures coming out of the depths, it’s a race against time to save themselves and each other. Check out the trailer below:

Survive is directed by Frédéric Jardin with Alexandre Coquelle and Mathieu Oullion on writing duties. Frantz Richard and Ludovic Naar are the executive producers while Marc-Etienne Schwartz and Marc Stanimirovic are the producers. Nicolas Errèra has given the film’s music. M.E.S. Productions, Monkey Pack Films, and Umedia has produced it with others. Samuel Goldwyn Films has distributed the film in the US.
