Recently, Spotify is getting in on QR codes a new way to share music. The streaming service added Spotify Codes into its app. The feature is explained as "a unique code for everything on Spotify" in a pop-up window.

Users can find codes for each and every song, then someone else ca choose to scan the code on their friend's phone and instantly open the song, artist, playlist, album on their own page.

This feature is similar to Snapchat's Snapcodes, where users can create and share their own QR codes that will then open a page exclusively within Snapchat. These codes could be placed on promotional material like posters, flyers, billboards, or even t-shirts. The TV Show featuring these tracks could even add Spotify codes to help users to identify the artist.

And then the user will find the new QR reader on Spotify clicking on search the app. After that, you will see the camera on the top right corner i their Spotify app and aim their phone at your screen. The selected song will start playing right away.

This is a new kind of experience to people who share the music to someone. Now, you can quickly share whatever is standing next to you. this feature is currently role on mobile.
