Shrek 5 First look Teaser: TikTok Scroll, Zendaya Cringing, and more

Shrek 5 is happening! Universal Pictures has released a first-look teaser that revealed the release date and the main voice cast of the animated film. Shrek 5 is directed by Walt Dohrn, who was also a writer and artist on Shrek 2 and 3. Also, he was the head of the story for Shrek Forever After. In this article, we will discuss everything about the first Shrek 5 teaser.

The teaser has confirmed that Shrek 5 will be released on Christmas 2026 in theaters worldwide. 

Voice cast of the film

This is the announced cast as of now:

• Zendaya as Felicia (one of Shrek and Fiona’s triplets)
• Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona 
• Eddie Murphy as Donkey 
• Mike Myers as Shrek 

Shrek 5 Teaser

The teaser begins with Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona, and Felicia gathered around a magic mirror. Shrek asks, “Who’s the fairest of them all?” The mirror says that it’s Shrek and then shows images of him making a duck face, in a skintight suit, and also one with photoshopped abs. It looks like Shrek's world has its own version of TikTok!

The last pic makes Felicia and Donkey recoil in disgust while Fiona says that she likes it. Shrek then wants to know who is making these pictures of him. Pinocchio steps in to say that it isn’t him, which causes his nose to grow. Check the teaser out below:
