The anime adaptation of Sho Harusono's manga series of the same name ended on Sunday, revealing the news above. The series' official website and social media accounts will soon share more details about the project.

Sasaki to Miyano was directed by Shinji Ishihira at Studio DEEN, with Takahiro Ueno as the assistant director. Yoshiko Nakamura was in charge of series scripts while Maki Fujii served as the character designer. The series premiered on January 9, 2022.

The television anime's cast members all reprised their roles from the manga's previous drama CDs, and include:

Series creator Sho Harusono launched the Sasaki to Miyano manga on the pixiv website in 2016. It has been collected in eight volumes by Media Factory. A spin-off manga featuring a beloved side character from the original series, Hirano to Kagiura, also launched in 2019 and runs in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Gene magazine.

Fans looking to read the manga series can check it out on Yen Press, which publishes the story in English. Yen Press officially describes the story as:

"It all started like a typical old-school boys' love plotline—bad-boy senior meets adorably awkward underclassman, one of them falls in love, and so on and so forth. But although Miyano is a self-proclaimed boys' love expert, he hasn't quite realized…he's in one himself. This means it's up to Sasaki to make sure their story has a happily ever after…!"
