After a devastating injury sidelines her career, she is taken in by an older, wealthy couple, Roman and Minnie Castevet (Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally), who promises her a shot at success. However, Terry soon finds herself ensnared by dark forces within the Bramford apartment building.

When she meets an influential Broadway producer (Jim Sturgess), her dreams seem within reach, but an evening she can’t fully remember leads her to question the sacrifices she's willing to make for her career. As unsettling events unfold, Terry realizes that something sinister resides not only in Apartment 7A but throughout the entire building.

Set years before the events of Rosemary’s Baby, the film explores the eerie occurrences that transpired before Mia Farrow's character moved in, revealing the ominous legacy of the apartment.

All About Rosemary’s Baby

Based on Ira Levin's horror novel Rosemary's Baby, Roman Polanski’s iconic 1968 film features Mia Farrow as Rosemary Woodhouse, a newlywed living in Manhattan with her husband, Guy (John Cassavetes). As Rosemary becomes pregnant, she is taken under the wing of her older neighbors, Minnie and Roman Castevet (played by Ruth Gordon and Sidney Blackmer). However, Rosemary soon suspects that they are part of a Satanic cult intent on using her baby for sinister purposes. The film was a significant box-office success, grossing over $33 million worldwide and earning numerous accolades. Notably, it was filmed at the Dakota building in New York, the site where John Lennon was tragically shot in 1980.
