PlayStation Vue is now more expensive to get for new customers, with each bundle costing $5 more.
PlayStation Vue is raising its prices by $5 per bundle, which means that Access now costs $49.99 per month, Core $54.99 per month, Elite is $64.99 per month, and Ultra has hiked up to $84.99 per month.
Existing customers won't be charged extra until their first billing cycle after July 31st, but new customers will get the new prices from the get-go.
"With costs rising each year for content, we constantly evaluate each deal to ensure we continue to deliver the content you want while considering the overall value of each package. After reviewing this, we have made the decision to raise the price of all of our multi-channel plans by $5," said Dwayne Benefield, PlayStation Vue VP, and General Manager.
He added that PlayStation Vue will continue to feature top networks like HBO, FX, ESPN, and others, including beIN Sports. According to them, the NHL Network and ACC Network will also land on PlayStation Vue in the near future.
The last time PlayStation Vue raised prices it was a year ago, and it was also by $5 per month for each bundle. The price hike isn't exactly a surprise since in the past few months most platforms have done this, including fuboTV, Hulu, YouTube TV, and DirecTV Now, which had it the worst.
PlayStation Vue offers four bundles to choose from and the subscription price includes access to cloud DVR storage space for 500 programs and five simultaneous streams, as well as a three-way split screen.
