The Israeli police website was reportedly hacked, as a member of the BreachForums going by the alias Handala announced on February 9. In a long message, the self-proclaimed hacker released 2.1 TB of data they allegedly stole from the Israeli authorities.

"In response to inquiries from reporters regarding an alleged breach of Israel Police systems, we would like to clarify that following a thorough investigation, no external party gained access to the police's information systems, and there is no indication of any breach or data leak from our systems.

The Israel Police employs advanced security measures and continuously works to strengthen its defense systems, utilizing leading global technologies in the field of cybersecurity.

We emphasize that the use or dissemination of personal information, or data obtained unlawfully, constitutes a criminal offense."
