Plot

Is this the Final Season of Outlander?

Outlander is indeed approaching its conclusion, with season eight confirmed as the series' final chapter. During New York Comic Con (NYCC), the cast and producers discussed the series finale, revealing that it will differ from the ending of Diana Gabaldon's book series. 

Gabaldon, who is currently working on the tenth book, was informed of the show's ending before filming began and expressed satisfaction with how the adaptation is being handled.
