Oculus on Thursday announced that it will be cutting down prices for Rift plus Touch from $798 to $598. A $200 reduction combined for virtual reality headset and its Controllers will be a great boost of its first anniversary.
The Rift came back in December pretty over-priced for a high-end VR experience to run games and programs. Even though it cut the cost around 25% still it seemed pretty costly for the entry price.
“We’ve given hundreds of thousands of demos, and at the end of every demo we give out a survey,” Jason Rubin, VP of content at Oculus, told Polygon in an interview.
Including to the bundled price Rift plus Touch will be getting cool new VR games.
For people who already have Rift, the touch controllers will only cost around $99 and additional Oculus sensor is now $59.
On the day before Oculus had launched Robo Recall the award-winning brand-new Shooter game only available for VR. One good addition to the 350 available games for Rift.
