Two New York based teams face off in this thrilling NBA derby on Tuesday evening, as it is the New York Knicks vs. the Brooklyn Nets. The atmosphere should be electric at the Barclays Center for this eagerly anticipated contest. So it will be very interesting to see which team comes out on top.
The Brooklyn Nets are sitting comfortably at the top of the Eastern Conference standings. With Kevin Durant and James Harden leading the way in the absence of the unvaccinated Kyrie Irving, the Nets are enjoying a 14-6 start to the season. They did suffer a defeat, though, in their last game at the hands of the Phoenix Suns. Now they will be looking to get back to winning ways on Tuesday at the expense of their local rivals.
The New York Knicks have made a fairly decent start to the season, even though they haven't really been consistent. They have a 5-5 record in their last ten games and currently lie in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Knicks shockingly announced last week that Kemba Walker would no longer be a part of their rotation after his slow start to the season. So that will no doubt have an impact on their showing on the court.
The game will not be broadcast locally in either the New York Knicks or the Brooklyn Nets market. But fans living anywhere in the United States can watch live on TNT, with a live stream available on the Sling TV.
