New Superman Movie Trailer: Lex Luthor’s Ship, a Barrel roll, and the 1 Thing fans are Hating

James Gunn’s Superman film will be released soon, and the promo materials are ramping up. Recently, a TV spot called 'icon,' featuring fresh footage from the movie was released. In this article, we will discuss that clip and what new things were shown. We will also touch on the controversy surrounding a scene from it. 

The new Superman Movie Trailer Releases Unseen Footage 

A short 30-second Superman clip was released online and it showed some new footage from the film. For one, we saw Lex Luthor stepping out of a plane with a masked villain who could be Ultraman. Also, we saw Superman do a barrel roll to avoid the icy rocks as he was flying. 

However, the internet feels there's something off at the moment when Superman twists and turns to avoid the rocks. Many think that it feels like it's straight from uncanny valley. Some are of the view that the CGI feels off, while others think that his eyes look off. Others think that the shot looks unfinished and thus sort of weird.
