Netflix To Add More Episodes of One Piece in March 2022!

It's a new year, anime fans, and One Piece has given us a whole new reason to rejoice this year! Additional One Piece anime series episodes will soon be available on Netflix in March 2022. In June 2020, Netflix US received One Piece episodes for the first time. Fans can find thirty episodes of the One Piece anime on Netflix currently. (Seasons 1 - 4)

Eiichiro Oda's manga series of the same name, on which the anime is based, began in July 1997 and was published in Weekly Shonen Jump. The series gained popularity quickly, with the manga continuing to this day. The number of manga chapters and anime episodes has both exceeded 1000. s of July 2021, One Piece had over 490 million copies in circulation in 58 countries and regions worldwide, making it the best-selling manga series in history. It is also one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time.

One Piece Additional Episodes To Join Netflix: When Will It Arrive? What Can We Expect?

Additional episodes of the One Piece anime series will be available on Netflix on Tuesday, March 1st, 2022. When Netflix US first received One Piece episodes, the East Blue and Alabasta Sagas became available to stream. Now, Netflix's "coming soon" page and the One Piece page on the platform confirm that new series episodes are coming soon.

The next two major arcs in the series are the "Sky Island" and "Water 7" arcs. However, as seen in the picture above, Netflix does not specify how many episodes will be made available in March. If Netflix only receives the Sky Island arc, for the time being, fans can expect to see episodes 130 to 195 on the streaming platform. (Seasons 5 and 6)

However, if Netflix also receives the Water 7 saga, it will take the number of seasons available to stream up to 9 and the number of episodes to 335:

One Piece Live-Action Netflix Adaptation

In addition to all the exciting news, fans will be thrilled to know that the live-action adaptation of One Piece has officially begun filming! The first season will have ten episodes, with Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer. The series will continue filming for another four to five months and conclude sometime around July 2022.
